On Saturday 14 June members of Somer Valley Rotary, Bob, Wendy, Anne and Laurence helped out at the popular Timsbury Village Day, we were asked to man the barbecue from 11:30 to 2:30. Over 150 burgers and 60 hot dogs were served including vegan and gluten free options and our support was much appreciated

At 85, Wendy is our club's oldest Glastonbury Festival volunteer. Wendy turned out, as she has for many years, to support our contribution of over 600-man hours across the whole period of the festival. Pictured here with Rob, a friend of the club who helped us by providing three 8 hour shifts. Thank you

Glastonbury Festival Somer Valley club has for many years offered volunteer marshals at Glastonbury Festival. Over six days, in rotational shifts, across 24 hours, we provided 580-man hours. In return the club receives funding from the festival organisers which we then use to support grants for our local community clubs and organisations throughout
